FAQ
How does pricing work?
The flat fee covers anything regarding service. This includes the cost of bar service, 2 bartenders, the bar rental, labour, transport, delivery, and breakdown.
The additional $8 per guest covers the open bar for that guest for the entire event. Some factors that we include in this cost covers the fresh produce, mixers, house made purees/syrups, garnishes, recyclable cups, straws, ice, napkins, and anything else needed for the actual beverages!
What alcohol is included?
Liquor laws in Canada do not allow the sale of alcohol from a mobile vehicle (insert sad face here). The host of the event is responsible for purchasing the alcohol and acquiring a Special Events/Occasion Permit from the AGCO so we can legally dispense any alcoholic beverages. For an additional charge, we are able to purchase the liquor for your event and invoice separate from bar service!
What if I want mocktails instead of cocktails?
We can absolutely create mocktails for your event however, this will not change the package price. Although there isn't any alcohol being added, mocktails still require all of the materials included in our packages to create the perfect drink!
Can we schedule a phone consultation prior to paying a deposit?
In some cases, we will schedule consultations before the deposit is paid. This typically happens if you have a complex event that requires unique details to bring your vision to life! We really love to communicate via email up until the deposit has been paid and are more than willing to answer any questions you may have. Once the deposit has been paid we will reach out and get you on the calendar for your phone consultation to go over event details, timelines, and to discuss the cocktail menu!
Can you accommodate glassware throughout the event?
Due to the small footprint of our mobile bar we are unable to accommodate multiple types of glassware for a full night of bar service. However, we are able to accommodate specialty glassware for a set signature cocktail depending on guest count. We use high quality recyclable plastic glassware for all other services. Glassware can be provided for an additional fee.
What areas do you service?
We service Niagara, Hamilton, and the Greater Toronto Area including, Oakville-Burlington-Halton, Mississauga, Brampton, Etobicoke, North York, York Region (Vaughan, Markham & northwards), Scarborough, Durham (Pickering, Ajax, Oshawa, etc). We are based in Hamilton, Ontario. Any location outside of a 60 km radius will be billed an additional $1/km outside of this radius to and from the event.
What decor items come with the trailer?
A table and chair setup in addition to fresh florals for the front of the bars comes standard in every package. A printed menu tailored to your event, and small items that are custom to your event is also included in each package. We do not provide balloons or any major florals or decor. Fortunately, we often work with planners who are able to provide those services. Let us know if you’d like to work with one of our event planner partners.
How will we know what to buy?
Once we know more about your event we will give you a shopping list based on your guest count and estimated consumption. We can obtain the items required for your event for an additional fee.
What’s a Special Occasion Permit?
A Special Occasions Permit (SOP) or Special Events Permit (SEP) allows for the sale and service of alcohol on special occasions, such as cash bars at weddings or private receptions, as well as larger public events. A SOP is required any time alcohol is served anywhere other than in a licensed establishment or a private residence.
Do you have any technical requirements?
We need a standard 110v plug with a dedicated 15 amp circuit to operate and lights or refrigeration system. We can work with your AV team to ensure the venue has the power we need to operate smoothly! We require a flat and level surface on gravel, grass or pavement, so the bar table is supported throughout your service. We cannot operate on hills, peaks or valleys.
What is your refund policy?
We trust that we will provide you with an unforgettable experience! So much so, that this won’t even be a thought. Services and deposits are non-refundable.
